As the club begin again the journey to creating a sustainable men's 1st XV, we were thrilled to take part in a match intended to keep players on the pitch across Nottinghamshire last Saturday, 7th September.

With games in the NLD merit league suffering from a lack of eligible players, Corsairs joined with players from Kesteven's 2nd XV to play Nottingham Casuals 2's at their home in Beeston. We were overjoyed to see a good number of our players turn out and so proud that one of our more junior members, Ben Palmer-Taylor, turned in not only a Man of the Match performance for the away team, but also score at hat-trick on his debut, a great example of how the club is consistently able to produce amazing talent through our great coaching set-up, well done Ben!
