Barton started off with 2 tries to 0 within the first 10 minutes. The Corsairs boys held their heads high and got right back into the game as the next 2 tries were from us. Half time 10-10 with Barton have the majority of the possession.

Second half Barton came back quite quickly with a try and Corsairs were soon behind again. Corsairs kept their heads and responded well to more Barton pressure and scored the next try. Barton were soon back on their feet with a fourth try but again came back strongly with a move wide to the right corner. Unfortunately, the ball was spilled over the line and the score was disallowed. Corsair maintained their structure and drive going forward and scored an equaliser shortly before the final whistle. They continued to press Barton and were getting stronger throughout the second half. Barton seemed pleased to hear the final whistle as Corsairs were on top for most of the second half and building confidence.

There was some lovely passing from both sides and some excellent tackles. The boys are certainly using the whole pitch and finding gaps to run. Brilliant game to watch and the enthusiasm at the end when the final whistle went was amazing to watch.
